tractor time

check out my new wheels...my neighbors gave it to me, their little boy had grown out of it & it fits me perfectly. i had to take a few driving lessons from daddy, but i am one fast learner, daddy was in shock. i mastered reverse, 1st gear & 2nd gear in 20 mins flat...that has to be a record. i looooooove my tractor, we have these huge tree roots & my tractor can take them...it's awesome, i even go up on two wheels. mommy & daddy aren't brave enough to let me take over the sidewalk yet, i'm told i drive like my mommy & nonie...CRAZY with no fear. when i've had a lil bit more driving time under my belt, i'm going to take livi for a ride...whoo hoo, watch out here we come.

washing the truck

ahhhh, there's nothing better than helping daddy wash the truck on a hot, hot sunday. i worked so hard that i needed to take a refreshing dip in the bucket ^_^ soooo nice... bonus it also counts as a bath, i should probably ok that with mommy though.

easy peasy cookies

last night i made the easiest and nummiest cookies ever. my auntie rissa gave the recipe to mommy & i'm so happy she did, because they are the best cookies i have ever eaten!!! i mean they're so easy to make, i did it all by myself, well mommy helped me a lil with the mixing. i wrote down the ingredients & then put them all in a big bowl, mixed them together, played patty-a-cake with the dough, put them on the cookie sheet & then in the oven. then presto you have AMAZING cookies. here's the recipe, so you can make them too...

1 box cake mix (any flavor)
1/2 cup oil
2 eggs

bake at 350 for about 10 mins or they will start to turn slightly brown and then you will know they are done! enjoy ^_^

i took this

the other night at dinner i asked mommy for the camera, she said sure & got it for me. i told her livi was being sooooo cute that i just had to stop & take her picture. here it is...pretty cute, huh?

breakfast

in the morning while mommy is getting my breakfast ready & her coffee (a huge must have), i get to be an awesome big sissy & give livi her breakfast. then when my breakfast is ready i always share a little with her. i tell you mommy would be lost without me, that's for sure!!!

lil birdhouse in your soul

the last time helpa was down he brought livi & i birdhouses to paint. we loooove birdhouses & couldn't wait to paint them so we could hang them from a tree for our birds. so this morning bright & early we woke mommy up to paint them, we had a blast. as you can see livi painted herself, the patio & a lil bit of her birdhouse but she loved doing it. now all we have to do is wake daddy up to hang them, i can't wait for the birds to see them, they're going to be so happy about all of our hardwork for them.

art show

on monday, it was time for another one of my art shows, mommy & daddy were super excited because they had only seen one piece this session. they couldn't believe their eyes when they saw what i created, mommy didn't believe some of the pieces i did were mine (silly mommy, daddy had to show her where i signed my name). i love art & being able to create pieces that i learn about is amazing. i want to say a HUGE thank you to ms. marjon for all your patience...i love you for believing in what we do!!!

livi's 1st birthday party

sorry it took so long to post these, our stinkin' internet has been acting up. anyway, you can see we had a blast at livi's party and most importantly so did she...well except for the cake part.

toilet paper anyone

mommy went to go get fresh towels for the bathroom & when she got back, this is what she found. livi had toilet paper everywhere & was having so much fun playing in it. then she dragged it all over the house, i'm sure we'll be finding pieces of it for the next week, but she's worth the clean-up.

livi's car

since my tia liz is going to be out the country for livi's birthday, livi got to open some of her presents early. i of course had to help her unwrap them...what are big sisters for. as you can see, she got the coolest push car ever & she loooooves it. we had to take turns pushing her because she would not get out of it, anytime somebody stopped for a break we got an earful from her. when it was time for birthday brownies, we finally got her out, (seriously...brownies, come on we had to take a break) she ate about half of mommy's (mommy is too nice, i couldn't have shared) then she was trying to get out of her chair to get back in her car. being the amazing sissy that i am, i told everyone i would push her around (i only get one brownie anyway, this being a kid stuff isn't always cool).
anyway we couldn't play all day, but we all promised at least one of us (mommy) will push her around the block everyday (how else where we supposed to pack up the car & go home)i tell ya she does love the feel of the wind in her hair. i can't wait till my birthday ...tia liz always gives the best presents, only 56 more days to go.
