happy fun easter

welcome, happy easter

1st of all happy easter everyone & we're all wishing you a blessed day! we had the best day ever celebrating Jesus at skeeter stadium with over 4,000 friends... it was truly amazing! my best friend aniston was even able to come with us, i was so happy i was able to share my church family with her. during the service we didn't see daddy because he was upstairs working as the pediatric nurse in charge at the child care. he was so excited to be the nurse in charge, he brought wound wash, gauze, ice packs, band aides, vomit bags, splints, boards & ace wraps! thank goodness the only thing needed was an ice pack for a biter, but daddy was there with it! then when he was off duty it was time for him to join us on the field. we love our church so much, we had an awesome experience praying & playing as a family!

we realized it's been a while since we've done a whole post just about sadie & you're probably wondering all about her busy lifestyle of being... lazy! we love our lil sweet sadie so much, but it's hard to get things done around here because you just want to cuddle up with her sweetness. i mean look at those eyes, could you say "no" to them?

this easter our church is going to be having an amazing service at skeeter stadium, we're so excited!!! danieal manning of the texans will be speaking. the playground & carousel is going to be open for the us kids.  also face painting, huge inflatables & we het to run the bases.  so this year, why don’t you have fun at easter? come join us at skeeter stadium as we celebrate in a way that you’ll never forget. we’ll have something for everyone as we celebrate easter together. since you’re probably going to church somewhere, you might as well Have Fun This Easter! if you'd like to find out more click here !

froberg farms

today was a gorgeous day, it wasn't hot & it was beautifully casty out. we decided to get out & enjoy it before the rain started. so we hopped in the car, drove to froberg's farms in alvin, tx & went strawberry picking. mommy's been wanting to do this for years, but there's such a small window to go before it gets to hot out. oh my goodness there was strawberries EVERYWHERE, as far as the eye can see!!! when you first get there you pay $1 to get a bucket to fill up with strawberries & the the strawberries are $2 a pound. then you get to take the bucket home & bring it back for the next time. we couldn't get over how delicious it smelt out there, the air was so sweet! there was strawberries in all sizes from itty bitty yellow babies to gigantic ruby red great grandpas... some of the strawberries we're bigger than my fist! mommy liked picking the funniest looking strawberries & she definitely got some unusual ones. we were told the redder the strawberry, the better so we got the reddest ones we could find. livi & i both filled our buckets up halfway, so we'd have about 5 pounds between us. the hardest thing was not to eat the strawberries as we were picking them, they were so big & juicy, but we had to wait to wash them first so we wouldn't get dirt in our teeth. we can't wait for dessert tonight because we're making fresh strawberry shortcake. we're not sure what we're going to make with the rest of our strawberries yet, maybe we'll make jam or a pie or a cobbler or a cake or even muffins... i can't wait to find out. we all had the best time ever picking strawberries today & we can't wait to go back to pick more & shop their farmers market! if you want to checkout their website just click here

nails nails nails

after a really really really long, hard, emotional & sick filled week... mommy decided we need a good pick me up. so called a really beautiful spa to set up appointments for me to have my 1st real manicure, livi to have her finger & toe nails painted & a pedicure for herself. we loved it there, everyone was so sweet & nice. they have the biggest nail polish collection i've ever seen & we had a blast when it came time to pick what we wanted. we are so definitely going back there because we were treated like princesses & it was so relaxing. our girly spa afternoon was just what we all needed & we feel so much better... it's amazing what a lil nail polish can do for ya!

so on the last day of school before spring break by the end of the day our old playground was torn down & they were cleaning the land to get ready for the new one. during spring break we went up to the school a few times to watch the work men put it together, it was cool to see! we were really hoping it would be done during spring break so we could play on it but everyday they were working working working. so on sunday we knew it had to be done since school was starting back up the next day, but it was roped off... ahhh. they were taking final measurements & promised it would be ready for school the next day. thank goodness they were right because i don't think i could've waited another day to play on it. right now since it's brand new everyone wants to be on it at recess time so we have to go in groups, but it's worth the wait. the slides are the fastest i've been on, it's so awesome! you have to be careful on the monkey bars because they're still slippery from not having tons of hands swinging from them yet. also we now have this climbing wall that is so fun, love it! i do miss the old playground, but this one is pretty cool. i know we'll all have a great time breaking it in.
