guess what...i'm 6 today!!! i've had the best birthday ever, we've been celebrating for days now. on saturday my tia liz took me out for lunch then we went to build-a-bear workshop & i built a tropical hello kitty (i loooove hello kitty) & i got her some jammies to wear. then after build-a-bear we went to maggie moo's where i had my very favorite thing of all...cotten candy ice cream! sunday morning livi & i made my birthday cake together & it looks AMAZING it tasted grrreat too, then my nonie & helpa surprised me by coming down for my birthday! then we all went to my momo's for my birthday lunch & my momo made me her delicious tacos (you have to try them), then it was present time & cake. i got some the best presents ever i got tons of barbie things, art supplies, 3 pairs of boots (i love me some boots & my family knows it), some jewelry, puzzles, & books. today (my actual birthday) daddy got off work early to make sure he could go by shipley's donuts & get me a special pink donut with sprinkles. then we all got ready & i had my own entourage to walk me to school, then at school the said my name on the announcements, i got to wear a birthday crown, my friends sang happy birthday to me twice, then mommy brought me mcdonalds for a special lunch. after school i got home to find the best present ever, mommy & daddy got me a ...BIKE, yes a beautiful pink bike that i love so, so, so much!!! also i lost another tooth, can you believe it i guess i'll still have one more present to open in the morning from the tooth fairy. i can't wait til next year, i don't know how it could be better than this year though, i'm liking this being 6 it's awesome!

happy birthday to you cha cha cha, happy birthday to you cha cha cha, happy birthday dear nonie, happy birthday to you cha cha cha. have grrrreat day!!! we love & miss you so, so much. we made a lot (understatment of the year) of videos of this for you nonie, trying to get it just right & i couldn't decide which one was my favorite out of these two so we put both of them up. i hope you like them...listen very carefully to the bottom one & i'll explain it to you next time we talk... hee hee 



i lost my 1st tooth

 guess what... i lost my 1st tooth (bottom front & center), it's been super wriggly for over a month now & today mommy (with a lil help from me) pulled it out. i have to say we've all been working on it really hard the last week because it's been driving me crazy. daddy & i tried the whole apple route that did not go over so well, i couldn't bite into the apple & i was a kinda scared to, so daddy started the apple for me, but i still couldn't do it. a few nights later livi decided since she has little fingers that she could get a hold of it better & she tried pulling it out...nope. so i've really been wiggling and pulling it then mommy suggested trying to turn the tooth in circles to loosen it up more. so today when i got home from school i showed mommy that the tooth was kinda of sticking out my mouth & mommy said "ok, that's it we're getting that tooth out" & we did. at first i was really scared because i thought it was going to hurt a lot so i was trying to pull it out myself then i tasted blood & kinda freaked out so i told mommy it was her turn & she pulled it out on the 3rd try and it didn't hurt at all. i was so excited to see my lil tooth in mommys' hand it was so cute. livi was a lil freaked out by the whole thing & every time i open my mouth she points to my gap & says "sissie otay (ok)?". so mommy already got my tooth fairy kit out so at bed time we'll read my tooth fairy book, light the special light so the tooth fairy knows she has a pick up & put my baby tooth under my pillow... i can't wait to see what the tooth fairy is going to leave me, i'm so excited.

my 1st homework assignment

today i turned in my 1st homework assignment & i was so excited... i love doing homework!!! it was a book for my friends & i  to take home to color & fill out information about us so we can all learn about each other. it took me 3 days to color all the pages & fill in all the blanks, but i think it looks grrrreat. on thursday we're going to be sharing our books with each other, i can't wait to learn about my new friends & i can't wait to tell everyone about me...

too many tamales

finally the day i've been waiting for (not very patiently) has come, i finally got to check out a library book from my school library...whoo hoo.
i get to keep my book for a whole five days, then on my next library day i get to pick out a new book to take home. the first book i decided to check out is called "too many tamales", i picked out this book because i really liked the cover of the book, everyone has big eyes on it just like me so i had to read it to find out why.  i love books & i love my school library, i can't wait till next week to pick out my next book.

insanity workout

well daddy leaves for guatemala next month to build a well & right now is crunch time for him to get in shape...no pun intended, hee hee. one of the ways he's working out is by doing the insanity workout, i don't know if you've heard of it but it is INSANE!!! i've never ever seen my daddy sweat so much, we have our own slip-n-slide in the house now because of him, wood floors & exercise is dangerous...for real. he also looks like he raided mommys' make up & went crazy putting blush all over his face, his whole face is red... i mean red red!!! we're all very proud of him & can't believe he's doing this workout everyday so to show our support livi & i jump in there to do it with him to keep him motivated. at first we were his water girls & then after watching him for a while we decided we couldn't let him do this alone & we voted mommy to sit out because we'd be in some serious trouble if she got hurt (really we know she couldn't last 30 seconds).  every day is a new video & you never know what crazy things they're gonna tell you to do, i can't imagine how goofy we look doing this. even some of the people on the video can't keep up & then there's my daddy huffin' & puffin' his way through, he is so AWESOME!!! to be honest we're all very happy with ourselves when it's over & we made it through another insane 45 mins.

work it girl

this week i've decided to show livi that there is nothing wrong with having your picture taken & it's funner to pose & smile instead of running away or frowning & looking down. so every morning we've been working on different poses & she's really working the hand on her hip pose, i just need to spend a lil bit more time on her smile now. mommy is so happy i've taken on this mission because she's always trying to get pictures of livi & they DO NOT turn out as hoped for... i know i always save the day. so hopefully when it's time to take pictures for our christmas card & we'll have finished all of our lessons & we'll have smiles all around. you never know with me as a coach & livi being such a tall skinny minnie, we may have a top model on our hands...hee hee.

my first driving lesson

this past weekend we went to nonies' for a visit & while we were there i decided it was time i learned how to drive!!! while the boys were out fishing, mommy, nonie, livi & i took a spin in nonie's neighbors golf cart. while we were out & about i asked nonie if it was ok if i took the wheel for a min, so i climbed into her lap & took the wheel while she did the gas & brakes. well that turned into an hour long driving lesson with lots of yelling (mommy & nonie), eye covering (livi) & laughing (all of us), every once in a while nonie would try to take the wheel to get us back on track, but i would push her hands away & told her it was my driving time. i had sooooooo much fun i drove us all over nonie's town & i didn't hit any parked cars or boats, run us into any ditches & i only ran one bicyclist off the road into the grass, but he was very nice & said it was his fault. i'm really an an expert on knowing my left & right, i just need to get down what a lil to left & a lil to the right mean because i like a lot to the left & a lot to the right, but it's harder to stay on the road doing that. the only time mommy & nonie were nervous (freaking out) was when i had to go over a bridge, the main goal was staying in the center of the bridge & not going off of it & not hitting the man at the end of it...no worries i had it in the bag.finally it was time to drive us back home & i think after this lesson i'm ready to drive a real live car...we just have to find someone who's willing to loan a 6 yr old their car!
