happy cinco de mayo!!! as you can see Livi & i wore the colors of the mexican flag to honor the day. to celebrate cinco de mayo, daddy came to school to teach all my friends how to make spanish rice for lunch. we had so much fun helping him & showing him all the spanish we knew...boy was he impressed. so we dined on delicioso pollo con aroz (chicken with rice) and aqua fresco (which is a popular mexican fruit drink that has watermelon, honey & lime)... yummy my favorite. i wish my daddy could cook for everyone but, since he can't, i'm telling everyone to go out & celebrate this wonderful day with some tamales, chile rellenos, flautas, quesadillas, salsa and of course some rice & beans. i know i will, daddy is making fajitas for dinner...mmm, mmm, good!!!
