splinter

the other day i came home from school with a HUGE splinter in my hand...OUCHIE!!! i really, really, really don't like those, they hurt & they're soooooo hard to get out. so dadyy set me down & got all of his the de-splinter tools out, normally he can get them right out but this one was in deep...it took forever! i was holding on tight to mommy's hand & squeezing with all my might every time it hurt while daddy was trying to get it out. it got to be really bad & i started crying (a lot) & that upset livi so much she started screaming and hitting daddy (we sisters stick together) because he was causing me pain. finally after 4 breaks with my hello kitty ice pack, 3 sweet tarts, a cookie & tons of kisses... daddy got it out. i think in the end he was in more pain than i was, livi's got a pretty good right hook.
