sunday with the ducks

today was so beautiful mommy couldn't bare for us to stay inside & waste the day away...so we decided to go see what the ducks were up to. we raided the kitchen for different types of bread to take with just in case they were hungry & it was a good thing we did because they were starving!!! we had so much, we took turns feeding the ducks & livi decided since we were feeding them that we should have a snack with them too (that was a first) it was also the first time we have visited the ducks since livi started walking, boy were they in for a surprise. livi really bonded with this one older duck & really wanted to focus all of her attention on it (poor duck), she chased this duck up & down, back & forth trying to give it bread. the duck finally waddled into some very deep bushes to get away from her (mommy was beside herself trying not to laugh so hard), poor livi she kept trying to get the duck to come out of hiding & eat, but it was not happening. i guess for next time we're going to have to scope out a new spot to feed the ducks because at this point i know word has gotten around about the sweet lil duck chaser.
