we miss kris, noel & jonah already

first of all we want to wish everyone a very merry christmas! it’s been such a joy having our elves on the shelf around this year.  last night on christmas eve the elves listened for santa's bell & when they heard them it was time for them to fly back to the north pole until next december 1st. we have had so so so much fun with our elves & can't wait to see them next year. boy, do we miss them, it's not going to be the same without looking for them every morning. here is some more of crazy mischievous things they did the last week they were with us...

day 22: they decided we needed to make our own gummy bear gingerbread village & left one for us on our piano where we keep our christmas gingerbread village so we wouldn't confused by their message.

day 23: since they didn't have pajamas & pancakes with santa this year at livi's school, we couldn't make the special reindeer food. so the elves made some for us to sprinkle in the yard & we can't wait.

day 24: the elves wrapped themselves up in super hero boxes with a bow on top & hid themselves in the presents we've already wrapped and put out to see if we'd find them. we'll admit, it take us a tad bit than longer to find them.

day 25: the elves were so proud of our christmas eve performance as drummer boys they brought us the fanciest drummer boy ornament you can imagine so we'd never forget!

now this was super crazy!!! livi got a hooverboard from santa & was having the time of her life on it! i'm not going to lie i was disappointed because i didn't get one too. i had one on my rough draft of my christmas list but because i was asking for so many expensive things i took it off because they were things i needed more than wanted. well a few hours after we opened presents we all went outside to watch livi ride her hooverboard on the street & as soon as we stepped out, we saw an elf we've never ever seen before with a hooverboard for me!!! we couldn't believe it & it was the best surprise ever!!!
