our pumpkins

yesterday was the day we've been waiting for for weeks... going to the pumpkin patch to pick out our pumpkins! the only problem was a storm decided to blow in & our plans had to be canceled. so instead we went to good old heb (our favorite grocery store) & go pumpkin picking there. since we were still a lil bummed, daddy let us pick 3 medium pumpkins to decorate... yay!

this year we decided to try something different with our pumpkins, instead of carving them we decided we were going to paint them! we had so much fun picking out paint, stickers, pipe cleaners & crazy sticky eyes to use. we painted vampires, frakensteins, jack o'lanterns, a dark starry night & more.

we decided that next year we're going to paint & carve our pumpkins because we missed toasting all the pumpkin seeds & we missed watching daddy doing all the hard work!
