story time

tonight mommy & i went shopping for a birthday present for my best friend at barnes & noble. after we found a gift i told mommy that while she was checking out that i was going to head over to the kids section & look around. well after i looked at books for me i went over to the little kids area to look at books for livi. i noticed it had been a while since i left mommy, but i figured she got caught up looking at something too. boy, was i wrong, she was on the verge of freaking out because she couldn't find me. she happened to turn the corner into the little kids section to see that i made a new friend & we were sitting on a bench together while i read her book after book after book. this little girl was 3 & so stinkin cute i couldn't say no to her when she asked me to sit & to read to her. mommy forgot how scared she was & her heart melted at how sweet we were. after i promised one more book (it turned into 2) & i would have to go, she looked at her mommy & told she she didn't want me to leave. she was so cute i wanted to take her home, but i told her i'd be back & i'd look for her so we could have another story time.
