award ceremonies

the last 2 mornings livi & i've had our end of the year award ceremonies at school. yesterday livi's 1st grade awards were held in her classroom & it was a packed house in there with so many proud parents. livi received lots os award this year & even got a trophy. here's the list of awards she received.... accelerated reader: bronze level, best effort- art, all heart award- physical education, all A honor roll certificate with a trophy also (because she did so good, A's all year!) & her classroom award was the most caring student! we're so super proud of how amazing livi has done this year & how she proved to everyone that nothing can stop her from doing anything! we can't wait to see what she'll accomplish next school year! at the end of the ceremonies mrs. tinker got emotional & didn't want to livi go to the 2nd grade because she loves her so much!

all the 5th grade classes with their parents went to the gym to celebrate for a 2 hour ceremony. it was very emotional for everyone, because we were saying goodbye to the amazing staff that we've been with for years. there was a slide show of all the 5th graders with a photo of them as a baby & now to see how much we've grown. i received certificates for A/B honor roll, perfect attendance (i got a medal for that) , outstanding art student, counselor's advisory team member, kiva reporter/crew, uil participate for art, all heart for physical education & my classroom award certificate of achievement was for sunny personality . i also got 2 medals for being an accelerated reader gold level for having over 100 points & a being a star reader for having over 200 points. i also received a the most beautiful trophy for reading all bluebonnet books!  let me tell you it's a little nerve wracking standing up there in front of all those people, but i'm happy that i did so well in 5th grade & i'm ready to tackle middle school.... ahhh!
