burning pear
this morning after church we went out to brunch (that's breakfast & lunch together) with mommy's boss, dr.yu, his wife mindy (my new best friend) & their sweet sweet baby boy devin ( he's soooooo cute, when i'm older i'm gonna babysit him)to the burning pear, i was a little nervous because i didn't know if there was going to a fire going on when we got there. thank goodness there wasn't, but with a name like that what was i supposed to think. i have to tell you that is a niiiiiice restaurant, it's fancy or as mommy says swanky. guess what, when you eat there you can eat anything you can imagine & as much of it as you want (it's called a buffet...every restaurant should have these), daddy kept going back for seconds, t
hen thirds, then fourths (i'm sure people thought he had never eaten before, especially dr. yu). i ate 2 waffles swimming in syrup with bacon & cantaloupe...nummy in my tummy! livi even gnawed/sucked on the bacon it was so delicious, she's working on those calories...whoo hoo. i can't wait to go back there again & this time i'm determined to find the pear, i couldn't find one today & i know it's there, it has to be it's in the name of the restaurant.
