my birthday weekend

this year on my birthday, there was no school so it was a 3 day weekend... whoo hoo!!! we started out the morning with my annual birthday donut at shipleys & when they found out it was my birthday they gave me my donut for free!!!

after we loaded up on sugar we all piled in the car (not the best idea mommy ever had) to spend the weekend at nonie's. we decided a super fun thing to do for my birthday was go bowling so as soon as we got to nonies' we took off for the bowling alley. i have to say i love bowling shoes, they come in the coolest colors, i always want to wear them home... so does mommy. the people who work at the bowling alley were very smart & put us at the far end of the alley where there was no one near us. we had so much fun bowling, half the time my ball would go flying off in the wrong direction, so it was more like duck & bowl... oh my gosh, we couldn't stop laughing. the man who manages the bowling alley got to know us very well because livi's ball would get tired of rolling halfway down & would just stop so he'd have to come rescue it, we were one hot mess having a blast. at one point when we were bowling they made an overhead announcement wishing me happy birthday, that was really cool. after that happened a complete stranger walked up to us & wanted to know how old i was & then he gave me $9 & wished me a very happy birthday... now that was awesome!

after we bowled two games we were worn out & decided it was time to head back to nonies. on the way there we saw this fun "texas" pig & bull we just had to pull over & take our picture with!

then it was time for pizza, gifts & my special cookie cake... finally! i got so much cool stuff like clothes, jewelry, a vera bradley lap desk, a cra-z-loop bracelet maker (i really wanted that bad), a sleep mask, a one of kind back scratcher made just for me, a beautiful doodle book, damask (paris-like) bedding, the cutest pajamas ever & i also got real leather cowgirl boots.... my first pair & i loooooooooove them!!!

the next day we got up & went to the mabank jubilee & had a blast. they was so much to do like shopping, face painting, riding the ponies, bouncing in bouncy houses, meeting family you didn't know you had & taking fun pictures at a wacky photo booth. none of us had ever been to a jubilee, but we can't wait to go to our next one! after that we went to go visit mee-maw to love on her for a little while. then we went antique shopping in all of these cool stores in malakoff. i like old stuff, it's really neat, i think i have a new hobby.

then we went home because a huge storm was coming in & i made tons of bracelets for everyone on my new loom! it was an awesome weekend & i loved every second of it! let me know if you'd like a custom bracelet, i can make you one!!!

after having such a wonderful weekend i couldn't wait to get into my new paris bed & have sweet dreams.
