a healthy me is drug free

this week  (oct 21- oct 25) at school we've been celebrating red ribbon week. schools & other organizations around the country use this special time to take a stand for a drug-free america. during this week we talk about the importance of making healthy choices that will lead to future success. at school we've had special themed days to get us all involved in red ribbon week in a symbol of unity by participating all together.
monday, october 21st- "red-y" to be drug free
all students were encouraged to wear a red uniform shirt to show that we are united in the fight against drugs!

tuesday, october 22nd- too bright for drugs
students were invited to wear their brightest neon or other bright colors to show that we are too "bright" to make unhealthy choices!

wednesday, october 23rd- "team up" against drugs
students got to wear their favorite team jersey (seattle seahawks of course) or shirt to show that we will work together as a team to encourage each other to make healthy choices!

thursday, october 24th- join the war against drugs
students could wear camouflage to show that we will join the fight against drugs & unhealthy choices!

friday, october 25th- say "boo" to drugs
today we got to wear orange & black or our favorite halloween t-shirt!

    I am impressed with your schools method of getting the message out to the students in a way they can have fun AND participate in the message. I think it is a tie between Tuesday and Friday as to the coolest outfit with Wednesday close behind. I think your camouflage outfit is for the water, is that correct? The most effective tool we have against drugs is educating people truthfully where there is trust of the information you are hearing and the younger the better. Let the truth set you free.
