1st place

well the day has finally come where we can check out my rodeo art work at the fort bend annex & see all the other entries. i didn't make it to the rodeo this year, but i'm happy to say i received  a 1st place ribbon... yaw haw! it was awesome seeing all the other pieces of art work that were there, especially all the high school entries... they were amazing!!! we have to admit we didn't agree with all the judging, there were some spectacular pieces that got 3rd place ribbons. seeing everything got me super excited for next year, I'm determined to make it into the rodeo art competition! my art teacher at school teaches art lessons after school on monday & mommy's going to talk to her about getting me signed up... yay! i really love art & am so thankful that other people do too!

    I have no doubt that next year you will do better but let us enjoy this year first. You won a Blue ribbon, that is fantastic!! You won it for a beautiful drawing, very beautiful. Lots of color, detail, and a backyard I would love. I thing you should have won an award for how you looked when you went to look at your drawing. Great shirt (peace, love and whatever that third thing is on your super looking shirt) most excellent jeans, and those super cool REAL cowboy/girl boots. Of course the three butt shots in the third photo are pretty righteous as well!
