3rd grade field trip

today was the 3rd grade class field trip to the children's museum (this is what we did for my 1st grade field trip, but they've added more exhibits) ..whoo hoo! i got to ride a school bus for the 4th time in my life & it was just as exciting as the first time except they still don't have seat belts (i need to do something about that) don't worry i promise i behaved! this is what we did for my 1st grade field tri before we went to the museum we stopped off at hermann park for some great play time & lunch. when we got to the children's museum we split off into our classrooms for groups for our adventurous day. we had so much fun exploring all the exhibits & it was even better that daddy was there to play with us. of course i had to say "hi" to the phone robot, i think he's the coolest! we got to go see "kidtropolis" which is a city where kids choose to be whatever they want to be! we get to participate in a simulated economy where we can spend money on items and experiences throughout the city. but, like in real life, we will have to get jobs to earn money. we also visited "power play" which is a three-story installation lets you leap up and down different levels as you discover new ways to get active. we went to the "matter factory" which offers a glimpse into concepts of materials science. then we went to the "invention convention" where we can concoct & construct contraptions & use our imagination to become inventors. i love going to the children's museum, there is so much to see & do! i'm so happy i got to go back there for my 3rd grade field trip, now i can't wait to see where i'll go for my 4th grade field trip!!!
