magic day

a few fridays ago at school we had a magic day. the hard working staff at my school spent lots of time planning to create the polly ryon hospital for our first ever "surprise" fall magical experience! our whole school was transformed into a medical complex... it was amazing! (an awesome idea brought back from our principal's visits to the ron clark academy). there were so many amazing hands on activities going on as the teachers transformed their classrooms to make this a "memorable experience" for us! in the spirit of thanksgiving all of us longhorns want to THANK all the teachers that planned...ordered stuff...and decorated for their activity, all the parents who donated items and took pictures, and the kids for being energetic participants in the friday fun!  It was a great day to be a LONGHORN....and a surgeon....a crime scene investigator....a medi-vac....a lab tech extracting DNA from strawberries...and so much more! there is a spring magic day in the making & we can't wait to see what will be planned for us!
