the other day at mother's day out, they had a mother's day tea for all the mommies. livi & her classmates have been working for a long time for this special day. all the tables were set up very beautifully, when all the mommies sat down they had a beautiful corsage & brooch to put on that their sweet lil one had made for them. for breakfast there was donut holes, muffins, special breads & fresh fruit with orange juice, water or tea to drink. there was so many gifts the children had been working on that were all handmade & mommy loves anything handmade so she was so excited! her favorite was this book that livi made called "my mom is special", it's so stinkin cute. my favorite is when livi wrote "my mom is as pretty as a princess"... so sweet! before the tea ended all the students went up on stage to sing songs for the mommies, livi sang all the songs at the top of her lungs & danced all the moves to every part! last year livi was to scared to go on the stage & for mommy to see her this year, talk about a huge change. mommy was so proud of her & that was the best present livi could've given mommy.

I think mothers today have it too good. Considering that most of the day they lay around the house watching TV while you guys are working your fingers to the bone making gifts and greeting cards and corsages, learn the words to songs, and all those dance moves you must practice every day. What a workout that must be for you but you sure are smiling like you are enjoying it. That picture of you on stage just reeks of self-confidence. You look natural and relaxed and ready to go.
ReplyDeleteLove you,

PS – talking about your gorgeous smile I must say your sister also has this magnificent smile. I think when each of you were born it was near the end of the shift for the “Beautiful Smile Fairy” and she sprinkled an extra (large extra) amount of smile dust on you. Or maybe it is because you are surrounded by people who love you so much. What do you think?
