kindergarten's walking field trip to the fire station

today all the kindergarten classes at school took a walking field trip to the fire station since we have one so close to us. since this is livi's 2nd time visiting a fire station she's a pro when it comes to fighting fires.  they got to meet real firefighters, learn about everything that is in a fire truck, watch a fireman get into his gear, see where the fire fighters eat, watch tv & even sleep, they got to take group pictures on the back of the fire truck. livi's  favorite part of the field trip was getting to walk through the fire truck (how cool is that), being able to be in a group with her besties & having daddy there to meet all of her kindergarten friends!
when daddy picked us up from school today, livi was still wearing her fire fighter helmet... we may have to sneak it off her head when she's sleeping she loves it so much

    How cool a day is THAT??? I never have gotten to do any of that. How exciting for you to get to go through a real (and big) fire truck. That is a pretty enormous smile you are wearing as you get off the F.T. Matter of fact you have a big beautiful smile in all these pictures. Very nice choice of clothes by the way and cool looking tennis shoes, they match your blouse. You can look very preppie when you want to - just keeping us on our toes aren't you? Did you get a fireman's (fire person's) hat? Looks like it belongs on you and would make for a nice addition to your fedoras.
