shine a light

this year our school hopes to play a part in ending childhood cancer by supporting 2 wonderful organizations... the snowdrop foundation & candlelighters. both organizations provide support to young cancer patients & their families, raise awareness, & support research efforts. so today all students wear invited to wear yellow. we could wear yellow socks, pants, shorts, shirts, hair accessories & whatever else we could come up with. daddy painted livi & i really awesome yellow cancer ribbons on our shirts to represent our support for childhood cancer. in return for wearing yellow, the student council is asking each student to bring a donation of $1 or more. all the proceeds will be donated to the snowdrop foundation & the candlelighters. this is just another reason why we love our school so much, they're always looking for ways to help the community too!!!
