texas, home of the west

in 4th grade the whole year of social studies is focused on texas history. every year there is a big project on what texas was like when stephen f. austin was alive & everything he did for texas. each student either has to make a 1 page newspaper, poster or pamphlet. we worked on the project for 2 weeks & it was counted as a major grade. i decided to make a newspaper & i got a 98% on it... i was so so so proud of myself. my teacher loved it so much she asked mommy if she could keep it so she could use it as an example for students in years to come. of course mommy said yes, but i had to bring it home first so we could at least take pictures of it.
