50 flower pots

remember how we told you we were going to make flower drip paint pots to raise money to sponsor 2 children for lunches of love for the summer. well we got 50 orders!!! we couldn't believe it, we were sooooooooo excited to get working on them. let me tell you we got paint everywhere & i mean everywhere... i can say we have the prettiest driveway there ever was! daddy even made us work benches after seeing us on the ground. he didn't want us to have sore backs or bums, isn't he the best?!?!
we had lots of friends request certain color themes; like we made one with all pinks for breast cancer, ones with blues for autism, a rasta one in red, green & yellow, a dallas cowboy themed one & all sorts of other fun ideas people came up with. we also loved when our friends told us to go crazy & do whatever we came up with. we were getting nervous because we've had sooooooo much rain that we weren't able to leave the pots outside to try in the sunshine. thankfully we had some sunny days & we were busy little bees. all of our customers were super understanding & supportive... thank goodness!
we finally completed all of our orders & we're about halfway through the deliveries. ms. adrianne who is the owner of lunches of love was so proud of what we're doing that she put in order for 15 flower pots... holy cow. we decided to package everyone's flower pots in plain jane brown paper sacks & asked them to take a minute to decorate them so the children will be smiling & feeling loved as they open their awesomely decorated lunch sacks made by them! here's pictures of almost all the flower pots we made (some we delivered & forgot to snap a pic) & we're so happy about how beautiful they turned out!

    Those are some beautiful pots to grow plants in. The plants will love their new homes. The color schemes are out of sight, I liked all of them you had pictures of. I would lean towards the "rasta" or the "go crazy" myself. That is an amazing amount of work you ladies accomplished and I am so proud of you once again. People are so lucky their is a network of kind, thoughtful people out their that are more than willing to step up and help the less fortunate. By spending all this time on this project you gave the greatest gift - your love, You asked for nothing in return other than the money goes to a good place. Now I know there was some fun involved here (there always should be) but I imagine by the last few pots you were getting a little tired and maybe running low on being creative but you finished and in a hurry to avoid rain. There is also the cost of the posts themselves and all the paint and that is where your mom and pops sacrifice comes in. You guys are a super team and I am proud to know you!

    I see I made a spelling mistake and uses the wrong "their" instead of the correct one "there" and do not want to get you going down the wrong path so here is the correction -- People are so lucky "there" is a network of kind, thoughtful people
